There was a point where I was questioning the relationship I was in.
I had an image of clouds dropping her into my life in the form of a seed, but holding on by a thin invisible whisp that could drag her back up into the skies at any moment. There we were, two seeds, growing without the rain that a seed would need to grow and yet still growing...
This is another of those songs that I only understood what I was writing about after I wrote it. Trust me, at the time I looked at the lyrics and felt like I should start thinking about therapy! Now I kind of like that image. It made me feel our relationship was deceiving the odds. I also realized that a lot of the EP had stemmed from this feeling, and so I named the EP after it.
