about

In my last year of high school I had a few issues with threats against me.
I suffered some paranoia and started jumping the big black gate at the entrance to our school because in order for it to open you'd have to talk into the mic and speak to a teacher who would decide weather your excuse was worthy of an exit.
There were times where my girlfriend and I would wait around the corner until the coast was clear and then make the sprint to it and hop over before anyone else rounded the corner.
A few times a teacher would see one of us and the other one would go unnoticed and still be able to make the jump...this song is about one of those times and the ultimate end of that relationship before I moved to America.

lyrics

Said I'd be there wouldn't be fair, wouldn't be a crime wouldn't be the first time. Never would've tried of I couldn't fly here. Never would've fought never would've thought.
In this boys world in this boys world. In these green eyes in those cruel skies. Cleverly awaiting future in the making, sitting feet first waitin g for the birth.

Yeah, though you just might find that peace of mind impaired. Though the better mans pride though the beggar inside you dares.
Your feet won't keep you there, ain't it real though?

Said I'd stay here, keep the way clear, wouldn't look a man if I didn't first plan. Selling 'em' my story, waiting for the morning. When my feet swell wear my seat belt.
In this boys world in this boys world. In these green eyes, in those cruel skies. Kicking all the feeling, screaming is believing. Sitting feet first waiting for the birth.

And Yeah, though you just might find that peace of mind impaired. Though the better mans pride though the beggar inside you dares.
Your feet won't keep you there, ain't it real though?

Forever was never the plan, though never did steady your hand, and when you emerged you were covered in sand beneath your elbows.
It's falling, it's falling now. Keep calling, keep calling out. When energy's spent I'll be tired and ground, beneath your window.

And Yeah, though you just might find that peace of mind impaired. Though the better mans pride though the beggar inside you dares.
Your feet won't keep you there, ain't it real though?
