I've lived with my partner for about two years now. Sometimes the apartment feels like a world of our own especially first thing in the morning when neither of us wants to get out of bed and face the world.
Sometimes I'll have a day where she'll have to talk me up and into the world and sometimes she'll have days where she feels like a child in a world of adults who will never quite understand her. This song is about the latter.
lyrics
The crow flies to leave the keys on mornings door. With no ties, the future never looked so bright.
Give it up now? Or will you give it one more like others before? When guided by friends, but the chase never ends, the chase never ends no.
But your so wild, the grown ups they won't understand
When you go out, the universe is in your hands
Way up high, where their minds won't fly, that's where you, you do reside, till another time.
With your eyes down, and your chest out, and your bravery shining through.
With your "oh no's" you feel solo, cause they're misunderstanding you.
Get 'em' up high don't ask why, jump through the hoops that they burn so bright.
Just when you lose your grip, just when you think that's it, you find your wings yeah.
But your so wild, the grown ups they won't understand
When you go out, the universe is in your hands
Way up high, where their minds won't fly, that's where you, you do reside, till another time.
The crow flies to leave the keys on mornings door.
The snow lied, but the future never looked so bright.
Give it up now, but the waking's the chore, don't show us the door.
The curtains are drawn, but the real world pouring through's alarming.
But your so wild, the grown ups they won't understand
When you go out, the universe is in your hands
Way up high, where their minds won't fly, that's where you, you do reside, till another time.

Silas Fermoy is the meeting of 2 creative minds: The Polished Pop hooks of Singer/Keyboardist Joshua Mash, and the
progressive ethereal sonic textures of guitarist Phillip Pope. Combining Phillip’s love of Experimental music, with Josh’s ear for driving pop melodies the two write new high energy material with a heavy emphasis on danceable grooves....more
So much emotion in every song!!! The guitar tones are incredible and held beautifully by the simplicity of the drums. I love this girls unique vocal style more than any other vocalist out there today Silas Fermoy
